The thickness of this pipe is
considerably less than the others. What this means to you
is a weaker item of furniture that will not last the
distance, and may even be a safety hazard. You can identify
pvc furniture made with thgis type of pipe by its weight -
pick up a chair and feel for yourself.

This is a very deceptive sample. It
appears to be a thick grade of material, but beware! It is
actually mostly cheap, recycled PVC with a very thin layer
of virgin material co-extruded on the outside. The recycled
material is always colored [may be any color], and while it
may be strong because of its density, it is the thin
exterior that is the main problem. You see, it is easily
scratched, and if the scratch is deep enough, you'll end up
with colored scratches on your furniture! Definitely lower
quality pipe.

Our material is
furniture grade virgin pvc pipe and
fittings. Notice that the pipe diamter is the
thickest of the samples, to provide you with the greatest
strength and durability, and the color goes all the
way through so that scratches and abrasions will
not show. The virgin PVC material is treated with
UV inhibitors to resist fading, cracking,
brittleness and discoloration, even in the harshest weather
environments, for decades. That's why we've
been offering a lifetime warranty since 1968 - almost
40 years.
