Cushion Slings
Cushion slings are primarily used on most brands of PVC patio furniture,
but there are other types of casual furniture that incorporate cushion slings as well.
There are many shapes and sizes of cushion slings, used on casual dinette chairs, recliners, lounge chairs,
ottoman footstools, and even loveseats and sofas. For this reason, we don't want to know your furniture brand or
anything else about your furniture!
All you need to do is send a sample of the sling you want made, and we'll make new ones the same.

Sling Measurements
|
Over the years we've come to realize that there's a lot of confusion
about slings. We've tried various options to make it easier for our customers to order new
slings. Unfortunately, there are too many variables that can occur, so trying to put a
standard process in place hasn't really worked.
The biggest problem is in the measuring. Slings that are still on the
chairs are already stretched into place, so they cannot be measured accurately. Often they
are torn, or have been repaired several times, which makes it even more difficult to
determine their original size.
So we finally decided that the best way to give our customers
slings that are the correct size is to have them send a sample directly to the factory. We
will provide instructions and the address to send sample(s) to after you place your
order.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR SAMPLES TO
US
THEY MUST GO DIRECT TO THE FACTORY!
Sending them to us will only
cause a delay, as we have to resend them to the factory for
you

Your Furniture Brand
Please do not expect us to know what slings are used in any brand of furniture. There are just too many
models and styles of furniture for us to keep track of. Besides, the brand name is really irrelevant, since
the principles of slinging patio furniture are pretty much the same for all brands.
To make sure that your new slings are the same size as your old ones,
we require you to send a sample one of each type to the factory where they're made. We will provide
instructions and the address to send the sample(s) to after you place your order.

Cushion Sling Types
There are many shapes and sizes of cushion slings, and various methods used to attach them
to the furniture frames. The most common attachment method is a series of loops or pockets sewn into the
edges of the sling, that are slid over the chair frame. They must fit tight, so proper measurement is
essential. Even a 1/4" error could potentially cause a problem. VIDEO: Sling Installation
With that in mind, we have provided you with diagrams of the most common ones so you can
identify them for ordering. However, if your sling type is not shown here, don't worry. We'll make them just
like the sample(s) you send us.
